One of the most important decisions you will make in life is choosing who you're going to marry.

If you make the wrong choice and choose to have kids with them, you're going to have grief about it for the rest of your life. If you get divorced from an incompetent partner before you have kids, at least you won't have to see them with regularity for the rest of your life, like the dad in this story will have to with his ex-wife.

The dad in this story was miffed when his ex-wife asked about the status of a bank account that she had closed herself after stealing money meant to be spent on her daughters.
